Recurring Tasks Drop the Star

I have a widget view where only a subset of my tasks show up - ones that are starred.
Recurring tasks, once completed, don't show up in this widget view the next day - they've lost their star. Am I missing something about what the Star functionality is designed to do, and why it would get dropped when the task recurs? I'm inclined to think this is a bug. Thanks so much! Justin |

Also, tasks set to recur monthly are coming back daily. I'm not sure if it has to do with the widget or just the recurring tasks feature. Any advice?

I have same/similar issue. Set my preference to all new tasks have the star on by default, but recurring tasks won't follow this rule for some reason. I've asked about this a long time ago but no solution.
