If you're an Ultimate To-Do List user landing here, this one's for you.

UTL has been the gold-standard Android task manager for the GTD community for over a decade. Michael Linenberger's MYN methodology is one of the cleanest expressions of Get-Things-Done ever shipped in software. We owe a lot to that lineage.
Here's where we are in 2026:
What we've kept.

Native Android app with offline mode
Full custom contexts (@Office, @Phone, @Errands, MYN-style)
Folders, tags, and goals separate from tasks
Master Your Now (MYN) compatibility — your priority bands and target dates port over
Hashtag and full-text search inside notes
API access for power-user workflows

What's improved.

Sync reliability is up (the 2024 sync regressions are gone)
Native iOS app brought to feature parity with Android
Web app rebuilt — no more flash-of-unstyled-content on slow connections
HTTPS / modern TLS everywhere
WordPress blog moved off the legacy CMS

What we haven't added (yet).

Time-blocking calendar view (on the roadmap; ETA H2 2026)
Full collaborative project view (basic sharing works today; richer collab is post-redesign)
Native AI task generation (deliberately holding — we want to ship something useful, not a demo)

Migration from UTL.

Export your UTL tasks as CSV (UTL → Settings → Export)
Import to Toodledo via /import — projects map to folders, contexts map 1:1, target dates map to due dates, priority 1-5 maps to Toodledo's high/medium/low + star
We'll publish a step-by-step guide this week with screenshots — link will be in the comments below
If you hit anything that doesn't map cleanly, reply in this thread, and I'll get an answer back to you within 24 hours

One ask. If you've been using UTL for years, your muscle memory matters. Tell us what you'd lose moving to Toodledo. We want to fix the gaps, not paper over them.
