By popular request, we have added another iCal subscription option in the connections section of Toodledo. This new option is labeled "To-dos only" and will place all of your tasks into the to-do list section of your calendar. None of the tasks will appear on the calendar, even if they have due-dates or start-dates. This was requested by people who use Apple's iCal program and want to avoid having there tasks appear on the calendar.

I just saw this option. Awesome. Much better to have it on the side as opposed to on the top of the weekly calendar. Thanks Toodledo!

Hi
Continue the good work. I upgraded to Pro almost immediately after you introduced Sub Tasks in the iPhone version. I have a couple of comments: I have NOT been able to get the Live iCal option working since it keeps giving me the error message that the data type is not correct. I have followed your suggestion of using the "webcal" prefix instead of "http" but to no avail. Please let me know what I can do since it is really a killer feature to directly take things into the iCal [since iPhone does not allow any direct export into it]. I have a suggestion. One of the good features of the OmniFocus which I also have [but use it less, I use your application the maximum] is that in the Context List screen, comments about tasks available and their due date [due soon, tomorrow etc] is available OTHER THAN THE NUMBER OF TASKS under that Context. Moreover, the Instances Badge are denoted in RED depending upon whether it is due today or not. These couple of features make the Context List screen very informative while Toodledo just shows the number of instances and I have to tap the particular context to go into it. Please consider that. Another suggestion is for the Projects to have its own list heading on the Main Screen rather than creating a Folder called Projects which is still one level deep. Is Apple going to allow import of tasks into its iCal on the iPhone since it is a serious lack of feature compared to the Symbian or Win Mobile platforms. Other than that, the application is a fantastic one and the syncing is impeccable and fast with the Web Application. Please continue the good work. narasimhan |

Most people who can't get iCal working have forgotten to click the "Save" button after checking the "Enable iCal" checkbox. You might want to check this.
I answered your other questions in your other post. |

Great! It worked just like you said you would. thank you. It is indeed a killer feature to export directly to iCal.
