in any screen, I establish a sort order, then move to another scree...e.g. from main to due date or by folder...or whatever. The sort order immediately goes back to a default of Auto for all three levels.
Any ideas?

The sort order for each view is saved separately, so if you set it on main and switch to due-date, it will switch to whatever it was set for on due-date. If you set it the way you want it on all the views, then it should remember each time you switch views.
