Adding a word to the dictionary on Android aborts task creation

I use the official Android app on Android 5.0. When I create a new task with an unknown word in the description, I'd like to add that word to my dictionary. So I tap on the red underlined word and tap “add to dictionary” (or similar, my phone is in German). Then the Google keyboard gives another pop-up to save the word in the dictionary. After that the task is gone with the error message “Task description must not be empty” and all other input is just discarded. After that I have to add the task again which is quite annoying.
