web reminders not displaying

I must be missing something. A reminder system that doesn't remind is unlikely. At best.
All tasks have reminders set, 1 hr before deadline. Reminder style is set to popup (test works). I have seen one (1) reminder of a real task pop up. I've tried several things, to no avail.
Any ideas?

The browser alarms are not the most reliable because of their nature. The Toodledo webpage must be open in the browser at the time of the alarm for it to work. I recommend using browser alarms as a convenience, but use email or in-App reminders for reliability.
