Filter for all completed tasks, then do a Control F and search for any keywords.

i tried no matter the filter, says zero completed tasks.

There is a setting in the Settings section "Delete Completed Tasks (after specified period of time)" where you have maybe the period set which expired already so maybe this is the reason why those tasks have been deleted? Did you check what you have set there?
