How do I enter recurring task in Android App

In the app, tasks that are repeating/recurring have a circular arrow in their check box. I don't see the recurring field for existing tasks and when I enter a new task I can't figure out how to enter the recurring information. Does anyone know how to edit or enter new recurring information for a task in the app? I've been having to enter all new tasks thru my desktop. Thank you!

It sounds like the "repeat" field is not enabled inside the app. You can go into Settings and then into "Fields & Defaults" and turn this field on.
