Completed task and recurrence

For some of my tasks, they are on a monthly or yearly recurrence. How do I hide the completed task and make sure the next recurrence still appears in my active tasks?

There is a filter to hide completed tasks. Click the eye icon in the blue toolbar and select to hide completed tasks. The next occurrence will still appear.
