Removing oneself from a subtask as a non-owner of the task

I have shared a parent task and have assigned several subtasks to that task and shared each of them.
Once one of my collaborators is completed with her work on a subtask, how can she "remove herself" from that task (but not the other subtasks of that parent)?
On other tasks we find a button "Remove me from this task" that we don't find on subtasks.

It is not possible to share a subtask independently from a parent task, so this isnt possible right now. You can only add/remove sharing at the parent task level.

Sharing only some subtasks would be a TREMENDOUS improvement over the current requirement that the entire parent and all subs be shared together. PLEASE try to implement this!
Thanks, Don
