How can I get reminders or alerts for tasks? On a small level, if someone's birthday is in 2 weeks and I have "buy bday card" as a task, I'd like an option for an alert/reminder 3 days before that. Otherwise, I can completely forget that I wanted to buy the card until the date I need it. On a larger level, this would be helpful for my larger projects, as well. And, I consider "cheating" and setting the due date 3 days before to be an undesirable workaround.
In Calendar on the iPhone, there is an option to set up to 2 alerts. That's what I'm looking for. Many thanks. |

Other than setting your Due Date to be a couple of days earlier, or setting up a separate task to serve as a reminder only, you don't have any other options currently as a basic user. If you get a Toodledo Pro subscription, you can set reminders for anywhere from 15 minutes, to several days in advance of a task's Due Time.
