If I'm already paying for a pro subscription is it possible to get the iPhone app for free?
Also, does the iPhone app sync over SSL?

You can't get the app for free, but it is pretty reasonably priced for an app of is kind, and was still on sale last I checked.
Iknow Toodledo has said the app's communication with the website is secure, so I belelieve it is over SSL.

Apple controls the App Store, so we can't offer it for free, but we have priced it low enough to be affordable for everyone.
And yes, it does sync over SSL.
