Can starred items be included in Hotlist

Is their any way starred items could be included in the hotlist if it does not meet the criteria for days until due or priority.
The way I have it set up now is that if I want something to show up on the hotlist well in advance, I give it a high priority and all other tasks are given a low priority. This prevents me from using my priority field as it was meant to be.
If using starred items cannot be set-up to be included in the hotlist, please consider this post a feature request.

That is not currently possible, but I have seen this request a few times recently, and Toodledo has said that increased customization options for the Hotlist is on their to do list.
