Siri Reminders syncing wrong time

Trying to use Reminders Sync function, with tasks added by Siri. The tasks sync with the times +8 hrs in Toodledo. Nothing seems amiss in any settings, including my time zone settings. What’s doing this?

Follow-up: the time syncs correctly if I specify the actual time for the task completion (“Remind me at 5 pm to.....”). But the time syncs incorrectly if I specify a duration (“Remind me in an hour to.....”)
That gives me a work-around, I suppose, but it’s still annoying, and can slow me down as I’ll have to take note of the current time and do the math.

This may be a Siri thing, not a Toodledo thing. I'll look into it.
