Toodledo Lists

I did a quick search within the forum without finding anything obvious. I'm using Toodledo TASKS all the time - excellent! I'm now exploring lists - to see if it was possible to have grouped list items - things like a persistent task to "Check home batteries" every month - and having a list of the batteries to check - or a one time "Trip to Wash DC" list and have a check off list of things to do around the house before I head out the door. I'm now building the "list" of items within the notes of the Task - but wondering if there is a better way?
Is something like that possible using Toodledo Lists? My company just moved from O365 to all things Google and I'm using Toodledo in lieu of the (IMO) pitiful Google task management system. Thank you Toodledo for what you do! Thanks! |

There are 2 choices IMO, depending on if you use just the App or also the Web desktop version. The latter has the functionality you mention - on a Task, click on the paper clip icon and from there you can link your Task to a List, Note etc.
I don't see the same linking capability in the App (correct me if I'm wrong). The answer there I suggest is that you add a subtask for every item you want to cover under the main task. So under "Check Batteries" task you add a sub-task for "Smoke Alarm Batteries", another for "Remote Control Batteries" and so on. |
