1. I'd love to be able to have greater control over my default view. Right now it's "Folders", but I'd like not to have to click on the "view by" menu at the top of the browser page, then click "by folder". Rather, I'd like to set the "view by" as a default also.
2. Notes on the iPhone app! I would love to have this!

I think you can do both of these already. You can set your default view in your account settings. And our iPhone app does have support for task's notes. Are you talking about the Notebook? There is a third-party app for that made by Appigo.com
