I have a task I'd like to perform every 8 and a half hours. typing Every 8 hours into the repeat just blanks out to no repeat, is every 8 hours possible currently? what about every 8hours and 30 min?

Currently, the quickest that you can repeat a task is every day. It is not possible to repeat a task based on a number of hours. Although you could create several copies of the same tasks and have them repeat daily.
