Can you recover lost notes

I was copying and pasting notes on my Iphone when I hit the sync button. I lost all my notes except for one. I even lost ones I wasn't working in. what can I do to recover them.

Are you talking about notes on tasks, or about the Notebook section? Which iPhone app are you using?
