Repeat task notes not saved in history

When a repeat task is checked the notes are not saved with the completed task when viewed in the history view/section.
Is there a setting I could change to have the notes show up on the history view/section?

Currently, notes are kept with the active, uncompleted version of the task. It is on our to-do list, to insert a copy of the note in all the completed versions of the task.
