trouble collaborating - tasks disappear due to filters

Myself and colleague have set up a sharing with our pro account and so that I can add things to her to do list . When I add them they are there but then when I click to see her to do thist or refresh the page they disappear and there is a message 14 active tasks hidden due to your filter settings - turn off filters <link> , when I click the link nothing happens. So I seem to be adding things but the go into a black hole?
