It seems that any target attribute I specify on a link in a note field is stripped (e.g., target="_blank"). Does anybody know of a way to disable this?
I'd like the link in my tasks to automatically open in a new window (so I can deal with the task without losing my task management window). All of these links are created by a small Greasemonkey script I wrote, so including "_blank" in them is easy.
I've confirmed that this field is stripped even when I edit an existing task to add a target field to its link. So the problem isn't in my Greasemonkey script.
I'm new here, so apologies if this has come up before. I did a search and didn't find anything.

Sorry, but our validation script cleans all HTML inside notes for security reasons. A different way to open links in a new window is to option+click on the link.
