Todays Toodledo Toosday Tip:

Did you know that you can edit multiple tasks at the same time? Simply create a search for all the task you would like to edit and then click on "multi-edit" in the dark blue tool menu.

Why can't we have a way to select (shift-select, ctrl-select) several tasks in the Tasks view (with their background becoming a light green/gray..) and then the "Multi-Edit" button appearing in the top blue bar ?
Being forced to construct a search to gain access to multi-edition is one of most difficult thing in Toodledo

There's a Greasemonkey script that does just this. It adds a multi-edit box to each page.

Of course this comes without warranty as it is developed on top of the Toodledo page. That said, I used it quite often without any problems.

This is nice for programmers. Does anyone know of a fix that non-programmers can use to multi-edit without doing a custom search?

You don't need to be a programmer, just go to the website: https://userscripts.org/scripts/show/85745 and then you can read:
- install mozilla firefox (it is a regular browser)
- install "greasemonkey" plugin on firefox (it's easy!!)
- install the script and read about it's functionalities (keyboard shortcuts for example, use E to turn on options of multiple selection and edit)

I am not programmer and I did it ;) it took me about 5 minutes (all of that).

Thanks for the detailed instructions. I will be installing it in Chrome (don't want to have 3 browsers, already have to have IE and Chrome here at work), so I found some instructions to install into Chrome. Now I just have to find some time.
