Made a list (and checked it twice). Now, how do I change the order of the items in the list? Want to be able to put them in whatever order
I want....beyond using filters to change the order by "types" (starred first, etc.) The example is a grocery list. The first item I put on the list is drain cleaner. Way down the list I put the most common staples, things like milk, bread, etc. I want to move drain cleaner down and milk & bread up. Is there a way to do this or do I need to redo the list and put the most common staples at the top in my redone list? This message was edited Aug 07, 2014. |

One solution:
Add a column (I call it 'sort'), and select it as 'primary sort'. Then put a 1 for things on top, a 9 for things on bottom, and there's a range for things in the middle. Selecting 'secondary sort' for the item column will sort alphabetically when your key is the same. |
