Subscription upgrade notification

I have had the free version for years and now, all of sudden, there's a red dot next to settings in the upper left corner when I open Toodledo app on my iphone. When I go to settings, under subscription, there's a red bubble that says upgrade. When I click on subscriptions it opens a web page that tells me about all the available plans I can get. So I click on Get It under the free plan, then I have to sign in. After I sign in it takes me back to all the different plans but now the free one says Current Plan. When I click on that it loops me back to the same thing.
I don't want to change anything. All I want to do is get rid of the little red dot.
Any suggestions?
