QuickTodo iPhone App. Too many new tasks

I'm using this application to add items to my task lists. It is very simple to use and quick, but after I have added a few tasks over a short period of time I get an error message about having added too many things through the API and i'm blocked for an hour.
This is quite frustrating since I often will have several things that I need to add. Is there a way I can change the setting of what the limit is for my account?

The dev(s) for the application need to fix their app and use the API more efficiently. Upping the account limit would only mask poor API usage. I'm the main developer for the TaskSurfer Mac app, and one would have to add more than 100 tasks in an hour before getting that message (I forget the exact number, but it's a lot).
