Recent intermittent problems saving changes

Over the last few months we've been getting occasional reports that sometimes a list won't load the first time, or sometimes when you try to edit something it will give an error that the website was unable to save your changes. We've been trying to figure this issue out since it was first reported. Its been a very difficult thing to debug because we cannot reproduce it reliably and because there is no evidence of the bug when it occurs. We've made a number of improvements to Toodledo with the hopes of solving this bug, but nothing has worked yet. However, we think that we may have finally figured it out. We believe now that it is a faulty piece of networking equipment. We are taking steps to replace this equipment in the next week and will be re-routing some of our traffic around this faulty equipment starting today. This will require a small maintenance window during which Toodledo will be unavailable, but it will be worth it.
So, for those of you who have been experiencing this issue and are annoyed by it, please be patient a little longer. This has been a very difficult problem, but we are working hard to solve this intermittent issue. |
