opening a task

My tasks are not opening when I click the task to view the entire task and notes. I am using Safari and this is the first time I have had this challenge.
When I click the task, it automatically goes to edit mode rather than opening the task. Can anyone help? |

Tasks on Toodledo don't really open as such. If you are using grid view, all the details should be displayed along a single row, and you can see notes by using "toggle notes" or clicking the note icon. If you are in multiline view, which I am guessing you are, the details of each task should appear when you click "toggle details", or you can click the little sideways blue arrow in front of the task title to see a particular task's details. No matter what your view, clicking the task title itself will always select it for editing.

Thank you very much. I wasn't using the toggle feature. That solves my problem. Thanks for your help.
