How to create subtasks

Can someone tell me how to create subtasks? The instructions said there would be a hand icon next to a task that would allow me to drag and drop a task into another task, but I don't have that. Thanks.

I don't know why you would not see the "hand". It does not have to be enabled or anything. It should just be there between the star and the task name. Once a task already has subtasks, the "hand" icon changes to a hierarchy icon. You can also add subtasks directly by hovering over either of those icons.
As for why you are not seeing it, the only thing I can think of is that it could potentially be a browser glitch. What browser are you using? Is there anything (besides the star icon) between your checkboxes and your task names? ~Anders |

It is probably because you do not have subtasks enabled for your account. Go into your account settings and look under "Fields Used". Make sure there is a checkmark next to subtasks.
