If I have space indentation in the note inside the task list, e.g.
Item 1
Item 2
Item 3
The list is "flattened" when in Task detail
Item 1
Item 2
Item 3
I have to click inside Notes field & enter the edit dialog to see the indentation.

Yes, this is because of a quirk of the way web browsers work. Adjacent spaces are always displayed as a single space unless you are editing it in a text box. We know how to fix this in a future update and we plan to do this. In the meantime, you can use a . or _ character to add "space" if you need indentation.
