iOS Reminder Sync - Default Priority Not Applied

Using the official Toodledo iOS app. I'm using Reminders Syncing. My tasks show up in TD, but are always Low Priority, even though my field default is High Priority.
Even manually entering the reminder and setting the priority in the Reminders app still yields Low Priority in TD.
Interestingly, my default Folder field setting does get applied properly to these tasks.
I saw this same issue in closed discussions from about 4 years ago, and TD indicated it would be addressed. But it's still not resolved for me.
