how to text alarms?

I read where it is possible to send a text instead of an alarm. I cannot hear the chime when an alarm goes off so I prefer to receive a text instead. Is this possible?

Most cellphone companies provide a "email-to-text gateway" which means your phone has a special email address that you can send emails to which get turned into texts. For example: [email protected]. You just need to find this email address for your phone and set this up for email reminders here on Toodledo.
