When I enter a task under (for example) @ calls through web-based application it syncs the task under "Inbox" on my Iphone -- even though in the "inbox" on the Iphone the task has the "@ calls" context selected. Does the new task entered through the web-based application have to go through Inbox? If so, when I tried to change the context, it still stays in the the "in-box" and does not move to "@ calls."

Any tips?

The Toodledo app does not have an inbox. If you are using another app like PI, Todo, or Action Lists (those three have inboxes), you should contact the 3rd party developer of the app.

BTW, given what you are saying, I am guessing you are using Todo. Todo will not remove a task from the inbox unless you assign it to a List in Todo, the equivalent of a Folder on Toodledo.com. It will not be removed because you give it a context.

Thanks! I'm actually using Action List. And, yes, when I changed the "Status" to "Next Action" is sent the task to "@calls." Is there any way to set the default status to
"next action" of task entered through Toodledo application, or will I need to manually change the status for each task once in Iphone?

Yes, you can set Next Action as a New Task Default, and any new tasks you create on the website will be assigned that status automatically. Go to your Toodledo Account Settings: http://www.toodledo.com/account_edit.php
Click on "edit" for "New Task Defaults". Then, for the Status field, choose "Next Action".

Just FYI, the only Toodledo statuses recognized by Action Lists are Next Action, Someday, and Waiting. Any other Toodledo status will sync to the AL inbox.
