Is there a way to change how points that affect Hotlist ranking are assigned to a task?
For example, I want tasks that are due today to show up with equal ranking as those that are past due. It appears that past due tasks get an extra point, moving them higher up on the list vs. those that are due today (due today may actually be more important to me vs. the past due tasks). |

I guess you are referring to sorting by Importance. It is automatically calculated based on predefined formula, which you can find in the Help/FAQ section.
You can use Saved Search to define your own criteria to serve as the Hotlist and use other sorting option. |
