Refresh button for folders

When I check an item as complete in a folder of tasks, a line crosses out the item.
However, I have to click a column header to "reset"/refresh my list and get rid of the deleted items.
Is there an easy way to refresh a folder? Am I missing something?

You can press the "R" key to quickly refresh.
