Lists Record Limits

Has there been any increase to the list limits i.e. the number of lists or allowable items in a list? My understanding initially was that it was capped at 100 lists and 1000 items per list. I have steadily increased my usage of lists over the past few years to the point where I have to consider the long-term implications of the data limits.

The same limits are in place. I'll look into seeing what it would take to increase these limits. Initially they were there because of performance reasons in your browser.
