Viewing Notes in Folder

When I open a folder, it seems that I should see all of the notes assigned to that folder, not just the tasks. I have seen reference in the forum to a "Show Notes" option in the Folder view, but I can not find such a thing in a tool bar.
When I open a folder, how can I see a list of the notes that I have asssigned to that particular folder?

The only way to access notes in the Notebook is through the Notebook link on the sidebar. The task views display tasks only. The notes which can be shown in task views such as Folder are notes attached to tasks.
