Due/Completion date?

I am confused big time. I have used time management for over 20 years and this has me off balance........is not a due date the same as a completion date? When a task is set (like I have one every Sunday for six weeks) why does it not have just a simple start date and stop date?
I have one task that needs to run repeatedly (no due time) from Aug. 23-Sept. 6 and that's it. How do I set that simple repeat task ? |

Due Date is something you set yourself. Completion Date is set when you mark a task complete. It could be before the Due Date if you complete it early or after if you complete it when it is overdue.
To set up a repeat like that create the task, and set the Due Date for August 23. Then set the Repeat field to Daily. There is no way to designate an ending for a repeat, so on September 6, either change the repeat field to none before marking the task complete, or just delete the next recurrence when it is generated. |
