Is there a way to customize when a badge shows up on the app icon? There are some tasks I need to know about the day of, and some more lead time than others. Is there a way to accomplish this?

Yes, you can customize the badge inside our iPhone app's settings section. Also, you can get reminders with different lead times if you upgrade to a Pro subscription.

I see you can get reminders with different lead times, but can you get badges pushed with different lead times?

Badges are pushed out several times a day, and whenever you get a push reminder, and whenever you launch the iPhone app. This should be enough to keep it updated.
