I cannot create a subtask because there is no "hand" icon on the task. I upgraded my subscription to pro yesterday, it is says the upgrade is complete. Any clue?

You need to enable subtasks on your account before you can use it. You can do this in your account settings. It is explained in more detail here: http://www.toodledo.com/info/subtasks.php

is there a way to set "show subtasks" by default in Folder view?
