Hi,
I have some tasks with sub tasks. I set dates on the sub tasks but they do not appear in the Importance list?
Why is this?

Do you mean "Hotlist"?
Perhaps you are viewing your subtasks "Indented" or "Hidden". You'll need to use "Flattened" to have subtasks appear in the hotlist, if their parent task does not appear.
