Problem in multiple sorting ?

Hi,
I'm new to Toodledo (migrating from Outlook tasks) so apologies in advance... I'm trying to sort my tasks by Due-Date and then by Priority. Due-Date works fine but it seems as though the secondary criteria is not working. Is this a known issue or something I'm doing wrong ? Thanks, Rotem |

Hi Rotem.
There's no known issue with the secondary sort. Does the problem occur with all views (eg. Main, Folder, Priority) and in all tabs? What is the actual sort order, after Due Date? |

Hi Claudio,
I tried it in the Main and Due-Date views. My sort order is by Due Date and then by Priority. It seems that the secondary sort by Priority is not working for me. |

Hi,
I've just tried in Main view - All tasks. I sorted by Due date and then by Priority (third sort = Auto). It works OK for me. |

Rotem, perhaps you can clarify what you mean by "not working for me".
Let's say you have four tasks: Task A, due May 1, low priority Task B, due May 1, high priority Task C, due May 2, low priority Task D, due May 2, high priority Sorting by Due Date and Priority, the order should be: Task B Task A Task D Task C In what order are your tasks? Due Date is OK, Priority is random (at least as far as I understand):
B A C D or B A D C or A B C D or A B D C I have tasks that are due today in this order: Medium, High, High, Medium. |

Do the tasks have a due-time as well? Because they will be sorted by due-date, due-time and then priority.

OK, great, that did the trick.
Probably got some default time assignment during import. Thanks Rotem |
