Any known causes/fixes? The pdf of the booklet never appears.

I have never downloaded a booklet, but I find PDFs problematic in browsers more often than not.

Have you tried left click and save as, instead of opening directly?

You might also need to update your Acrobat PDF reader or browser plugin.
