Is there any way to limit the available status options available ?

There are 10 different options, but I only use 3 and would like to leave just these ones available for selection.

Several times I do a complex filter to find something within my tasks. It would be a interesting option to be able to save these "views" and recall them by a simple click. Is this possible ?

It is not possible to customize the status options, but you can save a search. Here is info:

I second the idea of customizing (or atleast managing) the status list.
