How long can I store a task?

Someone told me that you purge old tasks after a certain amount of time. I have a lot of tasks which contain vital or useful reference information.

And, with a free account, there's this in the "Delete Completed Tasks" section of Settings:
Old completed tasks are hidden after 1 week, but they are not deleted until the age specified above. To see tasks completed over a week ago, or to save your completed tasks longer than 6 months, you need to upgrade to a Pro Account. From: http://www.toodledo.com/account_edit.php?edit=12

what should I do to retain important info? is there a note section to transfer the info?

If you want to retain data longer than the longest retention time on Toodledo, you can use our export tools to save the data to your computer.
