Hi there,
I'm using the toodledo on the iphone and I haven't found a way to see just the todo items in a single folder. It is frustrating to scroll through all the tasks to find the ones in the folder I am working with. I also would like to have the folder automatically set for new tasks that I add.

Is there a way to do this that I am missing?

Make sure the Folder field is enabled in Settings > Fields & Defaults. From this setting you can also tap on "Folder" to set its default value.
