Sync with 2Do on Mac

Once again the 2Do app on my Mac has stopped/blocked the sync with ToodleDo. This has happened several times over the past year or two. Last time 2Do advised that it was due to a DoS attack on ToodleDo servers, which was acknowledged in TD forum. Previous problems have necessitated logging the 2Do account out of TD, but when I re-establish connection most tasks, some 250, are duplicated after the sync and the job of sorting it all out as to which is latest version is onerous! I have sent 2Do log report to them. Any info on this issue from ToodleDo?
