Toodledo please note: You (as well as us users) will need to ask Chromatic Dragon to produce a sync app for Outlook 2010 32-bit AND 64-bit versions. Regards Working Dog is right. i just verified this in my task manager and its running as x64. Chromatic Dragon is running as x64 on x64 Windows which is good, however, unless you are also running Outlook x64 CD will NOT WORK. CD x64 wont work with Office 32 bit. x86 apps cannot talk to x64 apps and vice versa! |

HERE'S A WORK-AROUND
This wont fix the typelib thing, only the x86 x64 issue To do this you'll need the corflags tool either from .net or most likely the .net sdk v2.x Problems with Windows x64 and Outlook 32-bit users can force the syncapp to run in 32-bit. At the moment it runs as x64 which will never work with 32 bit outlook. 1. open up a x64 command prompt window! not x86 2. CD into C:\Program Files (x86)\Chromatic Dragon\Toodledo Sync Application 3. corflags /32bit+ SyncApp.exe 4. run syncapp. its now running as 32bit! more info about corflags can be read at http://www.request-response.com/blog/CategoryView,category,CLR.aspx |

After applying corflags I get the following error message also when I re-install the application.
Can someone help me how to revert the changed made using corflags? See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box. ************** Exception Text ************** System.Security.Cryptography.CryptographicException: Key not valid for use in specified state. at System.Security.Cryptography.ProtectedData.Unprotect(Byte[] encryptedData, Byte[] optionalEntropy, DataProtectionScope scope) at SyncApp.UserHelper.GetDecryptedString(String s) at SyncApp.frmOptions.InitAccountPanel() at SyncApp.frmOptions.InitFormControls() at SyncApp.frmOptions..ctor(frmMain mainForm) at SyncApp.frmMain.get_OptionsForm() at SyncApp.frmMain.optionsToolStripMenuItem_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripItem.RaiseEvent(Object key, EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripMenuItem.OnClick(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripItem.HandleClick(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripItem.HandleMouseUp(MouseEventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStrip.OnMouseUp(MouseEventArgs mea) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripDropDown.OnMouseUp(MouseEventArgs mea) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WmMouseUp(Message& m, MouseButtons button, Int32 clicks) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStrip.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripDropDown.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam) ************** Loaded Assemblies ************** mscorlib Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.4927 (NetFXspW7.050727-4900) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.NET/Framework64/v2.0.50727/mscorlib.dll ---------------------------------------- SyncApp Assembly Version: 1.0.1.4 Win32 Version: 1.0.1.4 CodeBase: file:///C:/Program%20Files%20(x86)/Chromatic%20Dragon/Toodledo%20Sync%20Application/SyncApp.exe ---------------------------------------- System.Windows.Forms Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.4927 (NetFXspW7.050727-4900) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Windows.Forms/2.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Windows.F orms.dll ---------------------------------------- System Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.4927 (NetFXspW7.050727-4900) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System/2.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Drawing Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.4927 (NetFXspW7.050727-4900) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Drawing/2.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/System.Drawing.dll ---------------------------------------- SynchLib.Common Assembly Version: 1.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 1.0.0.0 CodeBase: file:///C:/Program%20Files%20(x86)/Chromatic%20Dragon/Toodledo%20Sync%20Application/SynchLib.Common.
